( i am currently learning french and hate it and i think language school might be good to put on a college application .. what do y'all think?.. thanks o and i wanted to study abroad for a semester or year in japan when i go to college there are many language schools that are in japan that allow 15 years up to study in japan (genkiJACS, amerispan, languageabrige(sp) .... etc..

Regular Japanese language schools in Japan are almost always for people who have already graduated high school. Usually students who are high school age that do not speak Japanese very well but live in Japan go to what are known as international schools. But generally you have to live in Japan to go to one of those schools.

It's all up to you. In fact, you are not telling us the purpose of your visit so much. You only told us that you want to stay and study in Japan. You will need a lot of money to attend a language school in Japan, anyway.
