Could you tell me about a Japan undergraduate Art school so I can study Animation?
Hello, Im gonna study University in Japan for an undergraduate program. Im trying to find a Art and Design University because I want to study Animation. It can be anywhere in Japan. Thank you very much!!

Google it ... Or go to your local college and their guidance councelor will be able to help you outtt

Anime is basically not seen as college major in Japan. So there are few colleges who have anime as their subject. The below University of East Asia is one of the few who has anime. http://www.toua-u.ac.jp/design/ You better go to anime school if you really want to learn anime.

It is unrealistic but just your own illusion to be able to go to study at University in Japan for what you ara talking. In Japan, studying animation is not at any Art and Design University but at the special training school.

Do graduate schools in Japan require having studied the major subject previously at the undergrad level

Do graduate schools in Japan require having studied the major subject previously at the undergrad level?
I heard that in Japan, you can go to graduate school for a given subject without having studied it first for your bachelor's degree. Is that really true?

Yes, it is true. I was just speaking to my Japanese friend about it. She said that you can study any subject for your masters or doctorate (graduate level) in Japan without needing to know the subject before hand or needing a prerequisite, mainly because a masters or doctorate is not necessary to find a job in Japan. She went on further to explain that it's actually a minus if you have a masters or doctorate in Japan. Mainly because the businesses or companies who are hiring want their workers (employees) to be as young as possible. To have a masters or a doctorate would mean you'd have aged a bit, and that is not necessary. But if you're not looking for work in Japan, but just want to study there, then you have no problems. However if you have are planning on finding work there after your masters or doctorate or whatever degree in graduate level---it might pose a problem. Or unless you plan on being a professor because then you would need a masters or doctorate.
