The MEXT scholarship (文部科å¦çœå¥¨å¦é‡‘) is the holy grail of all Japanese scholarships. It provides for all school and examination fees, and a decent stipend. For others, check out JASSO. Taking the EJU (日本留å¦è©¦é¨“) gives you a shot at getting a scholarship worth 600,000 yen. There are other public and local bodies in Japan offering scholarships as well.
