I really want to go to fashion school in Japan but I don't how to get there. I haven't learned Japanese so I planed to go to college here in America to learn that. I also want to learn costume design so i guess my real question is if I still go down the path of go to college and study Japanese and costume design will I be able to transfer into a fashion collage in Japan or should I go to a fashion school here as well?

Hi, As much as I hate it when people tell me not to ask certain questions on the internet, I'm going to tell you that now! Sorry!!!! :P But, really, double check any other answers you receive, just in case. First, it depends on the two colleges you plan on going/transferring to. Secondly, Japanese if a difficult language to learn, so you must have high expectations of yourself to become fluent. Aside from that, I think you should ask the people that work at the college you plan on going to, and double check/reassure, just to make sure everything will go as according to your own plans. Last, I just wanna say that that sounds AWSOME!!!! -Yeah, I know I spelled 'awesome' wrong. People on here will probably say that it's a stupid idea, or whatever, but I think it's a really good idea, so you have my total support! XD Can I just ask, why Japan?!?! I am absolutely obsessed with all things Japanese, and, yes, there are many hot guys there, it's a great country, interesting history, and I like anime, but why do YOU want to go there? Hope you don't mind my asking! :D
